Why did a scan say "Couldn't read the label"?
The camera couldn't find a readable ingredients list. Hold the frame directly over the ingredients text, in good light, and try again.
Does TrueHalal work offline?
Yes. Text recognition, the rule engine and the AI all run on your device. No internet connection is needed for scanning.
Is a verdict a religious or medical ruling?
No. TrueHalal is an information tool. Verdicts are based on a curated ingredient database and on-device AI, and can be wrong — always check the packaging and, when unsure, ask the manufacturer or your own authority.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TrueHalal → Cancel.
I found an ingredient classified incorrectly.
